April 14, 2008Lousiville, Kentucky's COLISEUM has announced more international tour plans in support of its recent release, "No Salvation".
The band will join CONVERGE, THE RED CHORD, and GENGHIS TRON next week for the remainder of the "Lions For Lambs Tour". Immediately following, COLISEUM will head out on its first headlining run since "No Salvation"'s release last August. These dates will include support from Sweden's VICTIMS and California's TRASH TALK. COLISEUM will then break away for their first-ever Australian tour May 15 through May 19, as it provide support for labelmates THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN.
COLISEUM guitarist/vocalist Ryan Patterson commented on the Australian dates: "Were pumped and thanks for all your emails about the tour! After COLISEUM has left your eardrums in ruin and collective consciousness forever altered, the stage will be set for the forthcoming wasteland predicted by the prophet filmmaker George Miller thirty years ago in his masterpiece Mad Max. Only now the punks will reign and the interceptors will fall. Long live the Night Rider."
COLISEUM will head to Europe in July for a tour with CONVERGE and INTEGRITY. COLISEUM has also been confirmed for this year's annual Dude Fest in Indianapolis, IN, as well as being tagged to open for RANCID in Sauget, IL.
